100+ Investors to Watch in Resilience Tech

We’re very pleased to present to you our latest deep dive into the resilience technology industry: 100+ Investors to Watch in Resilience Tech.
As with our daily work on Resilience Media, and at Resilience Conference, our aim in putting this report together is to help draw, colour in, and expand our view of an ever-evolving ecosystem — here with a focus on who’s who among those backing it.
Resilience technology is a rapidly growing space.
Crunchbase notes that $14.6 billion was invested in the first half of 2026 into defence — including startups building technology to modernise militaries, improve security, strengthen democracy, a big jump on the $9.6 billion invested in all of 2025. There are also billions going to startups to shape the next generation of industry, engage in space, and grow technology sovereignty.
Investors have a huge role to play in this ecosystem. Yes, the obvious one is that they write checks to help startups grow. But they are also thought leaders, many with first-hand experience in the field themselves. In a nascent market, they help create and articulate the case for why resilience tech is something to back.
Investors’ ranks are now growing. You will know some of the names in this report. And you may learn some more.
Methodology
You’ll notice that the report lists “100+” investors… We wanted to bring together 100 but saw there were many more that are making a mark and needed to be named.
The + also means something else in this list: each name has a + icon to the right of its row. Click on it to learn more about what makes them notable and related articles from our archive.
Thinking about resilience technology and the ecosystem around it is an effort that we engage in daily at Resilience Media and at Resilience Conference (please join us).
To build this report, we have drawn information from several databases, including PitchBook, Dealroom and Crunchbase. A huge thanks to all three for your indispensable help. We have also used publicly available sources such as company web sites and SEC filings. We have also polled our networks and wider Resilience Media team to pull this list together.
Our hope is that this list is useful to inform the ecosystem, and in particular to help people new to defence to understand what this rapidly growing sector looks like.
As with our list of startups to watch, this is an evolving effort. Please get in touch at [email protected] if you have names to add or any details to change in either list. We’ll also be releasing updated versions of both over time.
