Roark has not made this list for specific deals that it has won, but because of what it claims to have won: the company — which has built radar-based “soft kill” technology to detect and stop drones and other aerial incursions — says it is working with agencies both in the US and Europe. Roark does not sell equipment but instead provides its technology as a service to end users. It claims to be netting millions in revenues, and it recently disclosed fundraising of more than $150 million at a valuation of more than $1 billion. IL
