Resilience Conference London is pleased to welcome three leading investors to this year’s programme: Nicola Sinclair, General Partner at Twin Track Ventures; Bastiaan Janmaat, General Partner at Linse Capital; and Eric Slesinger, Managing Partner at 201 Ventures.

Collectively, they bring defence, national security, and founder backgrounds, plus deep experience investing in the companies shaping the future of defence, national security and frontier technologies. Throughout the conference, they will share their perspectives on the evolving investment landscape, the technologies attracting attention, and what founders need to build enduring defence businesses.

Resilience Conference London brings together investors alongside military leaders, policymakers, founders and industry executives to examine the ideas, technologies and partnerships driving the next generation of defence innovation.

The conference takes place in London on 5–6 October 2026. Early Bird tickets close on 31 July, get yours today.

Bastiaan Janmaat, General Partner, Linse Capital

Bastiaan is a Partner at Linse Capital, a ~$2B AUM VC firm focused on deep tech. They invest from Series A to pre-IPO, deploying checks between $5m in earlier rounds to over $300m in their latest stage investments. They specialize in areas like space, semiconductors/AI, robotics, mobility, defense tech and new energy technology. Portfolio companies include SpaceX, Skydio, Shield AI, Verkada, and Impulse Space, to name a few.

Nicola Sinclair, General Partner, Twin Track Ventures

Nicola Sinclair is the Founder and solo General Partner of Twin Track Ventures, a London-based venture capital fund accelerating growth for dual-use deep tech founders, turning defence traction into commercial scale. She focuses on pre Series A startups developing foundational deep tech that can strengthen NATO & Allies and scale across multiple markets. Europe’s only solo GP with a track record in the business of defence, Nicola has a sharp insight into the defence market and how to use it as an accelerant for commercialisation.

Nicola started her career in the early 2000s at the Royal Air Force, where she worked in operational roles for two decades, acting in international projects and serving in the British delegation in the NATO headquarters. In 2018, she founded the Air Innovation Fund, helping over 20 Pre-Seed and Seed deeptech companies secure defence contracts in the UK and the US. She authors the annual Working with Defence and Security Report, and is a member of the European Defence Investors Network.

Eric Slesinger, Founder, Managing Partner, 201 Ventures

Eric Slesinger is the Founder and Managing Partner of 201 Ventures, a venture capital firm working to advance freedom and autonomy in Europe.
