The skies are seeing a surge of low-cost, autonomous drones that traditional ground-based defences struggle to detect early or intercept effectively at long range.
Alpine Eagle develops airborne counter-drone systems that can spot, track and neutralise hostile unmanned aircraft before they reach their targets. Its Sentinel platform has been tested with the German Federal Armed Forces and in Ukraine, demonstrating its ability to protect moving units and fixed sites from small drone threats.
The company has attracted backing from prominent investors including IQ Capital and works with partners on aerial security systems. Its aim is to strengthen air defence as drone use grows globally. PS
