Founded in 2017, SRR focuses on remotely operated and autonomous underwater vehicles (ROVs and AUVs). Its core offerings include seabed mapping, detection of unexploded ordnance, and robotic ship hull cleaning. The systems are designed with dual-use capabilities, with current customers spanning the private users and national defense agencies.

The company also offers a Robot-as-a-Service model and can bundle robot deployment with configuration, operator support, and remote diagnostics.

The new funding will help SRR increase production capacity and expand its robot fleet under the RaaS model. Plans are also underway to build a Remote Operations and Analysis Centre and a dedicated training center for underwater drone operators – presumably not in land-locked Katowice although the technology can be used to control drones from nearly anywhere.
