Modern battlefields are increasingly data-rich and fast-moving, yet current interfaces often struggle to present that information without overwhelming crews. Distance Technologies builds mixed-reality systems that project navigation and threat information directly onto transparent surfaces inside the vehicle, removing the need for separate headsets. The company has been trialling the technology with General Dynamics Land Systems UK and Supacat as part of ongoing vehicle programmes.
