We recently sat down to interview Dr Patrick P. Rose, Innovation Manager at SPRIND, Germany’s Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation – the country’s equivalent to DARPA or ARIA. We were fascinated to learn about SPRIND’s novel and interesting approach to funding and driving innovation in truly game changing technologies. The full piece is here.

Last week, Estonian defence tech group Darkstar ran their largest hackathon yet at an undisclosed location in Estonia. The Darkstar team gathered over 200 people travelling in from around the region and across Europe, a total of 16 countries, along with soldiers from Ukrainian frontline units as mentors. Read more about the event, which was a hackathon at its most raw and effective.
