We’re pleased to announce that Karl Rosander of Nordic Air Defence and Maciej Klimczak of Tantalit will take the stage at Resilience Conference Warsaw, bringing a timely conversation on cross-border defence collaboration and the evolving relationship between startups and primes in Europe.

The discussion will explore Tantalit’s partnership with Nordic Air Defence – marking the latter’s first collaboration with a Polish prime. The partnership is one example of the deepening ties between Nordic and Central European defence ecosystems that are being driven by shared urgency around the Russian threat. The panel will also discuss Tantalit’s strategic focus on the Polish market due to active defense spending and counter-drone initiatives.

This session will unpack the strategic decisions facing defence startups today – such as whether to partner, scale independently, or integrate with larger primes – alongside lessons from Tantalit’s trajectory and the realities of operating across borders.

Karl Rosander, CEO, Nordic Air Defence

Karl Rosander is a Swedish serial entrepreneur at the forefront of defence innovation. His company Nordic Air Defence is committed to providing homegrown cutting-edge drone defence technology, shifting the cost asymmetry in drone warfare in favor of the defender.

Maciej Klimczak, CEO, Tantalit

Last year Tantalit become part of WB Group – the biggest private defense company in Poland. Has a vast experience in international sales working for Orange group in the past. Maciej was involved in gaming industry which helped him to understand importance of UX. Now Tantalit works on several product lines like technical integration platform for special purpose vehicles, C2 system for counter-drone solution and intelligent steering systems.

Resilience Conference Warsaw is set to be the largest defence tech gathering in the city, designed to connect decision-makers across the ecosystem and align efforts around securing NATO’s Eastern Flank. Ticket sales close on Friday. You can register here, and be sure to explore the rest of the agenda.
