Resilience Conference is almost here. On 5-6 October, we’re bringing together the founders, investors, military leaders, policymakers, and industry teams working on the future of defence. The main stage is only part of the programme. Here’s how to make the most of the two days, including the breakfasts, briefings, workshops, and receptions happening around it.
Start the day together. On Monday, Lakestar is hosting a private welcome breakfast to kick off Resilience Conference. Tuesday morning, NATO DIANA hosts a breakfast with selected investors and military and government leaders to celebrate the NATO DIANA Capital Network. There are also private breakfasts and smaller gatherings throughout the conference. Check your invitation for details, as all have limited capacity.
Make time for the afternoons. Our mornings are devoted to the plenary programme. In the afternoons, you can move between expert briefings, breakout sessions, startup showcases, and meetings. The briefings are a chance to hear directly from people working on specific defence and security challenges, while the breakouts leave more room for questions and discussion.
Join a partner session. Public sector organisations, investors, and conference partners are hosting their own workshops and side events within Resilience Conference. These are opportunities to get into the detail, meet the teams involved, and continue conversations beyond the main stage.
Monday Breakout Sessions:
- ‘Unarmoured AI: How Do We Secure and Scale Defence Compute?’ Sponsored by Fortaegis
- ‘Deep waters, high stakes: The future of subsea security’ Sponsored by BAE
Tuesday Breakout Session and Expert Briefing:
- ‘Escalating Information Warfare: Where Should Start-Ups and Investors Focus to Meet the Threat?’ from Athena
- ‘Beyond the Drone: The Architecture of Defence Transformation’ Executive Briefing Sponsored by Orqa
Meet the companies taking the stage. Ten early-stage companies will pitch in LAUNCH@RC on Monday 5 October. Six more established companies will present in SCALE@RC on Tuesday 6 October. The founders are attending the conference, so you can follow up with them after their presentations. Meet the 2026 cohorts.
Use the receptions to keep talking. Some of the most useful conference conversations start after a session ends. Our networking receptions give you time to meet speakers, founders, investors, and end users without rushing to the next panel. They are open to all conference attendees. Project A is co-hosting the Opening Networking Reception on Monday, and MissionLink and NIF are co-hosting our Closing Networking Reception with a glass of bubbly on Tuesday. Expeditions is hosting a private End User Summit on Tuesday afternoon to bring together founders with military and national security leadership.
Over a meal. On Monday evening, invited speakers and friends of Resilience Media will also gather for a dinner co-hosted with General Catalyst.
Look beyond the conference. Resilience Conference sits at the centre of London Defence Tech Week, which runs from 1–8 October. The wider programme includes independently organised dinners, workshops, investor gatherings, hackathons, and other events across the city. Some are open for registration, while others require an application or invitation. Explore the London Defence Tech Week programme.
Our sponsors and partners help make these opportunities to meet and work together possible. Plan your main stage sessions, but leave room for the smaller conversations too. We’ll see you in London.
